community theatre in cochrane
Vision Theatre Players Guild was created in 2000 to create volunteer theatre opportunities to the community. It has produced a number of successful shows since then (see Past Productions), all put on with the hard work and dedication of volunteers. Over the years, the Guild was also referred to as the ‘Cochrane Vision Theatre’.
In 2018, ‘Take a Bow Community Theatre Society’ was born. Our focus is to continue to provide excellent theatrical productions for Cochrane residents to enjoy, all while providing opportunities for anyone to get involved in the live theatre experience. We are inclusive, in that we believe everyone has talent to share, whether you have had years of experience with theatre or none at all.
Today we are moving forward and expanding our outreach by partnering with other non-profits to find new and exciting ways to bring live performances to the community. We continue to grow and add to our repetoire and welcome community members into our group.
We can be found participating the the Annual Labour Day parade, The Cochrane Volunteer Fair or helping serve from time to time at The Royal Canadian Legion’s weekly BBQ and of course we can be found at The Common Works (see our home page).
Feel free to come up and say ‘hello’, we would love to chat with you!
